My Kingdom is not of this world” was the theme this year for the 16th Divine Mercy Conference held on Febuary 24 and 25th in Dublin , Ireland . The honored guest speakers this year included Fr. Vincent Travers O.P., Fr. Kilian Byrne c.c., and Anne, a lay apostle.

Fr. Vincent Travers, a Dominican from Dublin , completed studies in Rome in 1962; from there he was sent to Lisbon , then to Trinidad and Tobago , to Teheran, to St Mary's Tallaght. He was head Chaplin of the Irish Prison Service, and then sent to St. Mary's Parish east Vancouver at which he established an English speaking mission in the Pacific North West. In the year 2000, he served as prior to the Dominican community in Waterford . Currently, he is serving as director of the pastoral retreat centre at Priory Tallaght. Fr Vincent has written several books: “Dancing with life”, “In Tune with life”, “In step with God”, “ On Song with God”, “The Road Home.”

Fr Kilian Byrne c.c. completed his studies at the Gregorian University in Rome with an LCL in Church Law.

Until recently he was serving as Parish Priest in Graigcullen, Co Carlow. Currently Fr Kilian is immersed in the process of establishing the first Foyer of Charity in Ireland . This is an international Catholic Community which is recognized by the Church whose inspiration seeks evangelization of the world. Using silent retreats they give authentic spiritual teaching in charity and devotion to Mary. This opens souls for conversion, deepens their lives with God, and forms them for this apostolate.
