William was found by the Međugorje taxi drivers

The taxi drivers found the unfortunate young man exactly at the time of apparition

About a fortnight after the Irish pilgrim Winifred Mary Brady (59) went missing in Međugorje, another Irish citizen was missing for a short time. Luckily, after a seven-hour search, William Deasy (24) from Dublin was found by the tour guides and taxi drivers. William suffers from autism and he came to Međugorje with his Father Patrick and Mother Margaret.On the morning that he went missing, William set out for the Hill of the Apparitions with his parents and an Irish group of pilgrims.

He was walking in front of his parents and after a short while, advanced ahead of them. When the parents returned to their guest-house, they could not find their son. Each day he used to go to the room before them, but this time he was not there. They immediately alerted the guides, and the guides communicated the problem to the taxi drivers. Around noon, the search for their son began.

The taxi drivers began to search over in the area of Apparition Hill towards the village of Šurmanci, working on the information that William's Father had given them i.e. that his son liked to be isolated from people and would set his mind in a certain direction and investigate it till the very end...
