Međugorje is a world story

Dear readers, You are in possession of the first edition of the Međugorje Tribune Magazine! Behind this project, an impressive international team has done research and groundwork over a long period of time. All of them are well acquainted with the Međugorje events. We are all sure that a Magazine just like this is what's missing. The very name Međugorje Tribune reveals a lot-but not all.

This monthly Magazine is going to deal with mostly Međugorje stories. Through our stories you are going to find out what has truly been going on in Međugorje for about 25 years now. We'll certainly give coverage to those who have been having daily apparitions of Our Lady. We'll tell you the most beautiful and stirring stories about people who have found happiness and consolation there. We'll try to throw some light on all the other mysteries surrounding the apparitions too.

As well as this, the Međugorje Tribune will be reporting stories about the Croatian people, those to whom Our Lady entrusted these messages for the rest of the world. They are a people who have had a hard history, but remained faithful to the Catholic religion and the European dream. We shall introduce you to their culture, customs, cooking, sport…

We shall also provide information on the real-estate market in Međugorje, as well as the beautiful Croatian coastline which is receiving more and more international attention. In our monthly magazine you will find out what, where and at what price you can buy. The Međugorje Tribune will be an excellent guide, once you set off for Međugorje: In its pages you will find out where you can order a Guinness, which restaurant will provide delicious and nutritious Dalmatian cooking, where and at what price you can get a taxi etc

Some well-known and some unknown journalists will be writing for you. Some of them live just next door, in Ireland ! Some live in the USA , Great Britain , some again in distant countries like Argentina . A number of them actually grew up in Međugorje or nearby- they are Croats who are well-known in the field of Croatian media. As well as this, there will be numerous priests writing for you too, who like Fr Jozo Zovko were direct participants in the Međugorje apparitions from the beginning.

We believe that their expertise will serve as an added attraction to what we are doing! With their help, we shall all together, from the very first issue onwards, embark into the miraculous journey of what Međugorje stands for.

It is our plan to eventually make this magazine into an international publication because Međugorje is a story and a miracle for the whole world. Of course, we intend to do it with your help. We believe that you can help us with your letters of suggestions, observations, criticism and/or compliments.

In this magazine I hope to be both an Editor and a friend. Therefore please do not hesitate to write to me. It will be my pleasure to read and consider each individual letter. Until the next meeting in the next issue, I wish you an abundance of health and best-wishes.
